Wests and De La Salle have played out an epic 20-all draw on a rain-affected Parrish Park in the Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup Match of the Round on Saturday. Elsewhere, Collegians and Thirroul won their second round matches accounting for Dapto and Corrimal respectively.

Wests scored first through skipper Mitch Porter before three unanswered tries from the visitors, including a brace from winger Tom Rodwell to give his side a 16-6 lead at the break.
De La Salle extended the lead to 20-6 through two penalty goals before Wests mounted their comeback with three tries in 15 minutes to grab a share of the two competition points.
Dapto came from 16-0 down to draw within two points against Collegians, down to 11 men after Ryan Hodgson (26th minute) and Jesse McDonald (47th) were sent off. An intercept try to Collies winger Jay Watling with six minutes left sealed a 22-14 win.
Last year’s minor premiers, Thirroul, got the two competition points with a 22-6 win at home scoring four tries to one over an improved Cougars outfit.
In the Open Women’s Southern Corridor competition, Mt Kembla was defeated 32-0 by Jamberoo. Meanwhile, the Cougars’ match on Sunday against Como Janalli was postponed due to the wet weather. In the U18 Girls Tackle, Collegians defeated Kingsgrove Colts 40-10.
In the Mojo Homes Men’s First Division, Dapto defeated Collies 22-12 while Wests defeated Helensburgh 30-10.
In Harrigan Sheild action Avondale defeated defending premiers Northern Suburbs Bulldogs 24-6 and Figtree accounted for Windang 8-0.
