Team List Tuesday | Round 9 | Women’s Premiership & Junior Reps

Team List Tuesday brought to you by League & Legends Shellharbour

Junior Reps

The Steelers head into the final round against the Cronulla Sharks with all three junior rep teams still in contention for the Finals Series.

  • In Tarsha Gale Cup action, the fourth-placed Steelers take on the eight-placed Sharks, with Coach Courtney Crawford sticking with last week’s winning combination.
  • The Steelers (4th) take on the seventh-placed Sharks in Harold Matts. Last week’s late inclusions Finn Egan and Kade Reed hold their spots in the starting lineup, while Zachariah Taufa comes into the starting side trading places with Thomas Nelson who moves to the bench.
  • SG Ball remains in 8th position despite their win over the previously undefeated Raiders last week. They will need to beat the Sharks (9th) and hope the Roosters and Bulldogs taste defeat if they are to make the Finals. Coach Russell Aitken has named an unchanged line-up for the do-or-die clash.
  • Meanwhile, the Lisa Fiaola Cup squad will be aiming to remain undefeated when they play the final game of their four-week competition (No Finals Series).

Women’s Premiership

The Steelers Women’s Premiership team moved back into the top four following their crucial win over the Mounties and host the Sharks (6th) in Monday Night Football. With three rounds remaining before a four-team finals shootout coach, Alicia-Kate Hawke will look for her side to continue the form they produced in the second half against the Mounties for the remainder of the season.

In team selection news Kezie Apps, a late withdrawal last week, has been selected in the front row with Anji Tau moving to the bench, while the versatile Jade Etherden will wear number 13 instead of the injured Kaarla Cowen. Jordyn Preston comes into the centres replacing Keele Brown. Olivia Vale replaces Ana Raduva on the wing, while Teagan Berry, who returned last week, retains her spot on the opposite flank.
