It’s a quick turnaround for the Steelers after Monday night’s 24-22 win over the Sharks in the Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership, hosting the Newcastle Knights at Collegians Sporting Complex on Saturday.
Alicia-Kate Hawke’s side sits in third place on the ladder, two points clear of the Roosters and four points ahead of 5th place Mounties with two games remaining. A win over the Knights or the Tigers in the last match of the regular season would secure Illawarra’s Finals berth in their inaugural season.
