Illawarra Rugby League (IRL) is pleased to announce Mojo Homes as its new naming rights partner for the next three years. Starting from the 2021 season, the Illawarra’s premier rugby league competition will be known as the Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup until at least the end of 2023.
“The rugby league community showed how well they can pull together during the challenges of the pandemic in 2020,” said Mojo Homes CEO Cameron Lade.
“To be given the opportunity to become part of that community in the Illawarra and help them to continue to grow the game is really exciting for us.”
“The Illawarra is an important area for our business, and this is one way we can give back to the community that is supporting us.”
Steelers Chairman Graeme Gulloch and IRL Board of Management Chairman Gerry Murphy both welcomed the support of such an iconic sponsor.
“The IRL is proud to welcome Mojo Homes as our long-term naming rights partner,” Gulloch said.
“It is a strong endorsement of rugby league in the region that Mojo Homes has identified the IRL as a strategic partner to align its brand and engage with the Illawarra community who love their rugby league.
‘We’re all looking forward to the 2021 season after the disruptions of last year and can’t wait to kick the season off with the Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup on the 10th of April,” Gulloch added.
The Mojo Homes Illawarra Cup takes on a dual role in 2021, with the winner advancing to the Semi-Finals of the NSWRL’s new state-wide Presidents Cup competition before the Grand Final at Bankwest Stadium on Sunday, 26 September.
MOJO Homes is part of the MJH Group, who has been building beautiful, architecturally designed homes for more than 30 years.
